We have our own business in Atlanta and wanted a weekend place to get away from the city. Some friends of ours had used Don and Patty Cleveland when they purchased their lake home so they gave us their name and numbers. We had concerns about being the "city folk" that could easily be taken advantage of when looking at lake houses, but Don and Patty immediately alleviated those fears. We arrived in Anderson SC to this friendly couple, who had done a lot of research on water levels on the homes we were interested in seeing. To help facilitate they had even packed us a picnic lunch which saved so much time that we were able to see all 10 homes and still get back to Atlanta to our dog 'Woodrow.' We were impressed about their knowledge of Lake Hartwell, and they were able to match our wish list to a reasonably priced weekend home.
